Prawn and Chorizo Linguine

A simple and extremely tasty dish. I’ve left portions vague on purpose – use what you like – as much as you like. All about the flavours.

Prawn and Chorizo Linguine
A great pasta dish. Big flavours, very quick and easy to make.

  1. Prawns - as many as you want
  2. Chorizo, diced, as much as you want
  3. Mushrooms, sliced, as many as you like
  4. Spring onions, 2-3 per head
  5. 1 tub single cream or crème fraîche
  6. Juice of 1 lemon or lime
  1. Put the linguine on to boil in slightly salted water
  2. In a large pan, heat the oil and add chorizo
  3. Cook for a few minutes until oil is coloured
  4. Add garlic and onions and cook until softened
  5. Add mushrooms and stir
  6. Add cream and keep stirring
  7. Add juice of lemon or lime and stir
  8. Linguine should be ready
  9. Drain the pasta and add to pan
  10. Stir everything together well
  11. Serve with parmesan and black pepper
The recipe can easily be adapted to other types of pasta. Pimp it up with cherry tomatoes, spring onions etc….
