The tuna can be in oil, brine, spring water&#8230;. again, whatever you prefer.<\/p>\n<p><!--WPRM Recipe 926--><\/p>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe\">\n<h2 class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-name\">Tuna and Egg Pasta<\/h2>\n<p>\t<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-image\" src=\"http:\/\/childofthemist.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/tunaegg01-150x150.jpg\"\/>\t<\/p>\n<p class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-summary\">\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-equipment\">\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-ingredients\">\n<ul>\n<li>2 tins tuna<\/li>\n<li>500 g pasta<\/li>\n<li>4 eggs<\/li>\n<li>1 tbsp oil<\/li>\n<li>1 white onion chopped<\/li>\n<li>1 red pepper chopped<\/li>\n<li>1 courgette chopped into chunks<\/li>\n<li>1 small tray baby sweetcorn<\/li>\n<li>1 stick celery (optional)<\/li>\n<li>1 cup of button mushrooms<\/li>\n<li>1 tin chopped tomatoes<\/li>\n<li>1 carton passata<\/li>\n<li>1 tsp paprika<\/li>\n<li>1 tsp fennel seeds<\/li>\n<li>Salt<\/li>\n<li>Black pepper<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Topping<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>1 cup cherry tomatoes halved<\/li>\n<li>3 spring onions topped<\/li>\n<li>1 cup mature cheddar grated<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-instructions\">\n<ol>\n<li>Boil pasta until al dente then remove from heat<\/li>\n<li>Hard boil eggs<\/li>\n<li>Heat oil in a large pan and cook onions, pepper, courgette, sweetcorn until they begin to soften<\/li>\n<li>Add tuna, celery, mushrooms, paprika, fennel, salt and pepper<\/li>\n<li>Add pasta, tomatoes and passata and stir mixture well<\/li>\n<li>Cook gently for about 10-15 mins to heat thoroughly<\/li>\n<li>Cut eggs into quarters and place on the base of a large casserole tray<\/li>\n<li>Cover with tuna\/pasta mixture<\/li>\n<li>Cover with cheese, cherry tomatoes and spring onions<\/li>\n<li>Place in a hot oven\/grill until cheese melts<\/li>\n<li>Serve<\/li>\n<\/ol><\/div>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-notes\">\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-meta\">\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><!--End WPRM Recipe--><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This is a great dish.
