The salad itself is made from kale, red cabbage, bell pepper, carrots, broccoli, walnuts, avocados tossed with ginger-lemon dressing. Try it as a refreshing entr\u00e9e salad or serve a smaller portion as a side.\t<\/p>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-equipment\">\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-ingredients\">\n<ul>\n<li>For the Dressing<\/li>\n<li>1\/4 cup grapeseed oil<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 cup lemon juice (fresh)<\/li>\n<li>1 tablespoon ginger (peeled and grated)<\/li>\n<li>2 teaspoons whole grain mustard<\/li>\n<li>2 teaspoons pure maple syrup (optional)<\/li>\n<li>1\/4 teaspoon salt (or to taste)<\/li>\n<li>For the Salad<\/li>\n<li>2 cups dinosaur kale (tightly packed and thinly sliced)<\/li>\n<li>2 cups red cabbage (thinly sliced)<\/li>\n<li>2 cups broccoli florets<\/li>\n<li>2 large carrots (peeled and grated)<\/li>\n<li>1 medium red bell pepper (sliced into matchsticks)<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 cup fresh parsley (chopped)<\/li>\n<li>1 cup walnuts<\/li>\n<li>1 tablespoon sesame seeds<\/li>\n<li>Optional Topping: 2 medium avocados (diced)<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-instructions\">\n<ol>\n<li>Whisk together all ingredients for the dressing (or put everything in a small blender and blend) and set aside until ready to use.<\/li>\n<li>Add the kale, cabbage, broccoli, bell pepper, and carrots to a large serving bowl.<\/li>\n<li>Pour desired amount of dressing over the salad and toss until everything is coated.<\/li>\n<li>Add the parsley, sesame seeds and walnuts and toss again. Top with avocado if desired.
